Svědectví: Pravda, která měla zůstat skryta (2021)

Annually, 130 million animals are killed in the Czech Republic for the production of meat, milk, and eggs—a staggering number that may be difficult to comprehend. But do we truly understand where and how these animals live? The documentary 'Testimony' unveils the truth deliberately hidden by the animal industry. Through footage captured by hidden cameras, it infiltrates the barbed fences and high walls of Czech large farms, small farms, and even domestic farms to reveal the real lives of animals reduced to mere commodities.

It Never Ended.. (2018)

An unconventional activist documentary was shot in its entirety by Casper Hilt during a "vigil" organized by the Toruń local group of the international Animal Save Movement network. A vigil is a reverent act held in front of a slaughterhouse, in this case, a slaughterhouse near the Polish city of Kutno. The activists aim to draw public attention to the unnecessary killing of animals, the poor conditions in which they are kept and transported, film footage that confirms these claims, and give the first and last loving caresses to the frightened animals that will soon end up in the slaughterhouse.

There Was a Killing (2020)

On June 18, 2020, a new law protecting farmers entered into force in Canada. Regan Russell was killed the very next day. This documentary tries to prove that her death was not an accident. The driver who hit Regan received no punishment. Anita Krajnc faced ten years in prison for giving water to a pig. Nevertheless, the fact that governments pass such laws is clear evidence that animal rights movements are indeed strong. Toronto Pig Save, in which Regan served, is a local group of the worldwide network, The Animal Save Movement. Let us honor the memory of Regan.

Manfred Karremann highlights the extremely poor living conditions that animals experience during transportation between different countries. I'm glad that such films are broadcast on public television to bring attention to this important issue.

The Nightmare Goes On (2021)

On April 8, 2021, Cruelty Free International published a testimony from a former employee of Vivotecnia, a Spanish laboratory. The video shows evidence of animal cruelty committed by the employees, as well as a violation of Spanish and European animal protection laws. The animals, including dogs, monkeys, pigs, and others, are kept in bare cages and treated with absolute disrespect by the employees. They are subjected to physical violence, ridicule, and taunts, which further increases their suffering, already caused by the experiments themselves and the stress and pain they endure.
